Greetings, fellow mortals.
My name is Jacob and this is my digital bungalow (it sure is small and empty). Mind your step. The place is still under construction, and the insurance will drop me if you plummet to your death or something.
Storytelling is my love language.
When I was little, I would sit in my family's pizzeria, write these goofy stories, staple them into little books, and pass them out. Studying creative writing in college, therefore, was a natural fit.
When the pandemic struck, I ran back home to help save our little restaurant. COVID restrictions lifted, life went back to normal (ish), and I went back to school for an M.A. in rhetoric & composition. For some reason.
But now I'm out here asking questions:
- Why is everyone so down these days?
- Is reading really dead?
- What happened to fun tech?
- Why does it feel like there are so many people trying to convince me that the world is tiny and dumb and pointless?
Also I can't get any jobs to respond to me, and I've got nothing better to do. It was either this or wire-fraud (which is still an option).
Here I combine explorer thinking with boundless creativity.
